The idea of about a Bayanihan website came when Jerome Castaneda and Jim Ellis, a real estate broker of SingaporeRental.com met through Singapore Stomper Business Mastermind Meetup last October 2009. Jim used to live in the Philippines as an entrepreneur and a missionary before settling down in Singapore. He was awed about Filipinos spirit of bayanihan and advised me to create an online culture.
It took me quite some time to crystallize this idea. I have to learn as well to create this website while practicing some new skills outside of what I've been doing as a Mechanical Engineer. My initial idea was to create an environment where we can promote our resource of talent to be able to help (outsource) other business inside and outside the Philippines. But as time goes by, I see a bigger picture with the vision.
